Day 1
Tarangire National Park

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning, and you’ll begin a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, enjoy picturesque views of local villages and Maasai herds. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population, and you may also spot zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs. Lunch will be served at a picnic site within the park, followed by an afternoon game drive.

At the end of the day, you will drive to Marera Valley Lodge, located on the outskirts of Karatu town, roughly halfway between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge offers stunning views over the valley and the hills beyond, providing a perfect setting to relax after a day of adventure.

Day 3-4
Ndutu Area

After a hearty breakfast, we will set out for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region, exploring its diverse habitats, including swamps, woodlands, soda lakes, and the famous Serengeti short-grass plains.

Witness the breathtaking spectacle of massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. Around January, during a brief period of about three weeks, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest calves are born in a remarkable synchronized event. With little cover on the plains, the newborn calves can run within minutes and are usually strong enough to keep pace with the herd within three days.

At the end of the day, we return to Ndutu Wildland Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
