Excellent from start to finish We done a five day Safari for part of our honeymoon and it’s definitely been an unforgettable trip. We have been to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Manyara National Parks! All our lodges were brilliant with staff being so polite and helpful. Our safari guide Gasper is second to none and made the trip! Not only is he very knowledgeable about the animals, he’s kind, friendly and drove well! Outstanding safari from start to finish We had an absolutely fantastic six-day private safari in Tanzania, and a huge part of what made the trip so special was our guide, Gasper. Gasper was extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and his passion for the wildlife really showed throughout the safari. He was excellent at spotting animals that we would never have noticed ourselves, and his knowledge of the parks meant he always seemed to know the best places to stop and the best opportunities to see wildlife. He was also incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout the entire trip. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and he went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience. At the end of our safari, Gasper went above and beyond to accommodate our flight plans, making sure everything worked around our travel arrangements and helping to make our final day completely stress-free. An unforgettable 7-day safari – Golden Trips Tanzania was simply amazing! We have just completed an unforgettable 7-day safari with Golden Trips Tanzania, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, as well as enjoying an incredible cultural experience with a local hunter-gatherer tribe that still lives according to its traditional way of life. We organized the entire trip directly from Italy with Anitha, the manager of Golden Trips, communicating mainly via WhatsApp. Thanks to her perfect English, deep local knowledge and endless patience (!), we were able to fine-tune every detail and create exactly the safari we wanted. Everything was perfectly organized and tailored to our family. Our guide, Sylvester, was simply outstanding. Always incredibly helpful and flexible, while at the same time deeply respectful of the parks, wildlife and local rules. His knowledge of nature goes far beyond the classic Big Five – which, by the way, we were lucky enough to see all of them, including the unforgettable sight of two leopards together in the same tree. We also witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime moment: a cheetah family feeding on a freshly caught gazelle, an intense and fascinating scene that we will never forget. Sylvester has an impressive knowledge of birds, plants and the entire ecosystem, and even keeps excellent birdwatching field guides in the vehicle to help identify the many species we encountered. But what made the experience truly special was Sylvester himself. He has a natural ability to connect with people, always knowing when to explain, when to help and when simply to let us enjoy the moment. We are a family of four and, after seven days together, Sylvester genuinely felt like the fifth member of the family. Saying goodbye to him at the end of the safari was surprisingly difficult. From the first WhatsApp messages with Anitha in Italy to our last day with Sylvester in Tanzania, the whole experience was outstanding: perfectly organized, flexible, highly professional and, above all, deeply human. If you are looking for a local Tanzanian operator to organize a private, tailor-made safari, we cannot recommend Golden Trips Tanzania highly enough. A wonderful experience from start to finish We had an amazing experience with this local Zanzibar-based travel agency, which we found through SafariBookings. They were very helpful and available right from the beginning, always responding very quickly to both emails and phone calls. They created a fully customised package based on all our specific requests and needs. We had quite a few particular requirements, but they always managed to accommodate us and find the right solution. The whole staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive to our needs every day and in every situation. Our driver was fantastic: friendly, very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He taught us so much and had an incredible ability to spot animals, even in the most hidden situations. He knows the Tanzanian parks extremely well and always knew how to move around efficiently to find the best wildlife scenes. Spending time with him allowed us to experience Tanzania at its best and also learn more about the local culture and the Maasai people. A special mention also goes to the chef, who cooked for us at every camp. Every meal was absolutely delicious! really good experience with Golden Trips We have had a really good experience with Golden Trips so far. Tarangire was beautiful, with some great wildlife sightings, including a very young elephant with its mother. The Serengeti was definitely one of the highlights: we saw a lioness hunting, cheetahs on two occasions and a leopard resting on a rock. We also tried to see the migration at the river, although unfortunately we were not lucky that morning. One of the most incredible experiences so far was the night trek on Ol Doinyo Lengai. It was physically demanding but absolutely spectacular and something we will remember for a long time. We have also really appreciated the flexibility of the organization. We had some concerns about one of the camps and they managed to change the accommodation for two nights without increasing the price. The new camp was in a fantastic location and, most importantly for us, very clean. We really appreciated the way the situation was handled. Communication throughout the trip has also been very good, with quick answers to our questions and a real effort to accommodate our requests. We still have the Ngorongoro Crater and Zanzibar ahead of us, but so far we are very happy with the organization, the itinerary and the experiences we have had. It was a demanding challenge turned into a safe, unforgettable adventure Golden Trips Tanzania is hands down the best choice for climbing Kilimanjaro. I highly recommend them for a flawless, safe, and deeply human trekking experience. Why to choose them: Expert Guiding: Their guides, Noa (for me ) , showed incredible leadership and natural authority. His deep knowledge of the mountain, botany, and wildlife added massive value to the trip. Sharp Logistics: Flawless organization with daily morning and evening briefings. Schedules, nutrition, hydration, and clothing recommendations were always crystal clear. Safety First: Meticulous approach to high altitude risks. They conducted regular medical checks, prepared me perfectly for the summit night, and had all emergency gear (oxygen, stretcher) ready. Amazing Porters: The crew's physical strength was mind-blowing, but their joyful teamwork and family spirit truly made the trip unforgettable.
