4-Day Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport to Arusha Airport—a short and scenic journey of about 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon landing, your safari guide will be waiting to welcome you and drive you straight to Tarangire National Park.

Today, you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive through this beautiful park, known for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife that gathers around the Tarangire River. After an exciting day of safari, you’ll head to your nearby lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast at your lodge near Tarangire, we’ll set off on a scenic journey toward Central Serengeti. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering beautiful views and chances to spot wildlife along the way.

By afternoon, we’ll arrive in the heart of Serengeti National Park—Central Serengeti—where you’ll enjoy your first game drive in this iconic landscape. Keep your eyes open for big cats, elephants, giraffes, and more as we explore the vast plains before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend the entire day exploring the Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich regions in the park. Known for its year-round game viewing, Seronera is especially famous for predator sightings—including lions, leopards, and cheetahs—drawn by the permanent water sources and large herds of plains game.

From open savannahs to riverine forests, this area offers diverse habitats and unforgettable sightings in the very heart of the Serengeti.

This morning, after an early breakfast at your lodge in Central Serengeti, we’ll begin our journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Once we arrive, you’ll descend into the crater for a game drive in one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa—home to all of the Big Five, as well as many other unique species in a breathtaking setting.

After the game drive and a picnic lunch, we’ll continue on to Kilimanjaro Airport in the late afternoon, where you’ll catch your night flight back to Zanzibar. It’s a memorable way to end your safari adventure—full of incredible landscapes and unforgettable wildlife sightings.
