After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife.
Enjoy wildlife viewing along the Tarangire River, where animals gather throughout the year. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.
In the late afternoon, drive to the campsite near Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a game drive across the crater floor while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and the rare black rhinoceros. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location near a hippo pool.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to Karatu.
