3-Day Classic Northern Tanzania Safari (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) – Midrange Fly-in from Zanzibar

Your journey begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) to Arusha Airport (ARK), lasting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon landing, you’ll be welcomed by your professional safari guide and begin your drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant populations, the park also offers a wide variety of wildlife around the life-giving Tarangire River. After a full-day game drive, you’ll proceed to Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu for a warm dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—an intact volcanic caldera that is home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The morning is spent on a game drive across the crater floor, offering excellent chances to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant) in this incredible setting. After a picnic lunch in the crater, you’ll ascend and continue to Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll check in at Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your final day with breakfast before setting out for Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its lush forests, groundwater-fed lakes, and unique tree-climbing lions, this park offers a rewarding game drive through a variety of habitats. You’ll also have the chance to see elephants, baboons, flamingos, and more. After a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll drive back to Arusha Airport in the afternoon for your return flight to Zanzibar, where your magical safari adventure concludes.
