After breakfast, depart for a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and Tanzania’s largest elephant population. Game drive through diverse landscapes with a stop at a scenic picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River — a hotspot for lions, elephants, giraffes, and colorful birdlife.
Set out early for the 8-hour scenic drive to Lake Natron, home to flamingos and dramatic volcanic landscapes. En route, enjoy a packed lunch. Early the next morning (pre-dawn), you’ll hike Ol Doinyo Lengai, the only active carbonatite volcano in the world, and reach its summit at sunrise. Later, transfer back to the lodge for a well-earned rest.
Depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy panoramic views over the crater before entering the vast savannahs of the Serengeti. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and more during the journey.
Begin with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch predators in action at dawn. After brunch at the lodge, head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often called the “8th Wonder of the Natural World.” The crater is a wildlife haven and home to the endangered black rhino.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a once-in-a-lifetime safari surrounded by the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Search for lions, elephants, flamingos, buffaloes, and possibly black rhinos as you explore this lush wildlife paradise.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This compact but biodiverse park features tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and more than 350 bird species. Optional: Canoeing on the lake (extra cost).
