After breakfast in Arusha, your adventure kicks off with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park — home to the largest elephant population in Tanzania. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive across diverse terrain filled with ancient baobab trees, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a rich array of birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River, where you may catch dramatic scenes of wildlife coming to drink or even predators stalking prey.

Depart early for Lake Natron, a remote and surreal landscape near the Kenya border. This long drive offers scenic views and a taste of off-the-beaten-path Tanzania.

In the early morning (or pre-dawn if climbing), hike to the base of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred “Mountain of God” for the Maasai. The adventurous climb rewards you with a sunrise over the rift valley escarpment and Lake Natron plains. Later, return to your lodge for rest and refreshment.

Depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, with game viewing en route. You’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands and stop for a stunning crater viewpoint before heading into the endless plains.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive — one of the most magical safari moments. With the golden light casting across the savannah, spot predators on the hunt or wildebeest grazing peacefully.

After brunch at camp, drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Marvel at the caldera views and wildlife encounters as you journey through forested hills, plains, and highland scenery.

Today is a highlight: descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

During your half-day game drive, you’ll search for the elusive black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, flamingos, hyenas, hippos, zebras, and more — all within the lush crater floor.
