Day 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Approx. drive: 2.5 hours
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you’ll meet your private guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest elephant populations and dotted with ancient baobab trees. The park is a photographer’s dream, especially in the dry season when the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for thirsty wildlife.

As you ascend to the crater rim, the landscape transforms into highland forest. You’ll check into your crater-edge lodge in time for a sundowner.

Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha

You may see:

  • Massive bull elephants with tusks
  • Rhinos grazing in the grasslands
