4-Days Private Budget Safari Explore Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Golden Trips Tanzania and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Once settled, leave your bags at the hotel and head into town for a guided tour. Your local guide will share insights into Arusha’s culture and history. You will visit the Maasai local market, where you can learn about traditional crafts, followed by the central market to observe local trade in food and fruits. Time permitting, you will explore the Arusha Cultural Heritage Center, including the House of Gemstones and other local attractions. Return to your hotel either by walking or driving.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes. Enjoy game drives en route and continue with a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may follow the wildebeest migration. In the evening, enjoy dinner and overnight at your camp.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site of great historical significance where anthropologists Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered ancient hominid fossils such as Nutcracker and Handy Man. Continue to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at your campsite.

After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife experience. The crater’s year-round water and fertile land support a rich variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants. Predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards are also commonly seen. Visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, known for its flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Arusha and be dropped off at a hotel of your choice.
