4-Day Classic Wildlife Mid-Range Safari

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire, known as the “Land of Giants” due to its impressive elephant population and massive baobab trees.

Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, where herds of wildlife gather for water. Expect sightings of giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes, and possibly predators like lions and leopards.

Arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera region) for a sunrise safari, ideal for spotting active predators like cheetahs, leopards, and lions. After a picnic lunch, continue game viewing as you head out of the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Today, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places to see the Big Five in a single day. After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive on the floor of this ancient volcanic caldera.

Spot black rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions, and countless other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then ascend back to the rim and return to Karatu for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and vibrant birdlife. Before entering the park, stop briefly at Mto wa Mbu, a bustling local town with a colorful market and culture.
