2 Day Tarangire Safari with Night Game Drive

After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park. The drive takes approximately 2–3 hours through scenic Maasai landscapes and rural villages.

Upon arrival, begin your morning and afternoon game drive exploring the park’s diverse habitats. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant population, often seen moving in impressive herds near the Tarangire River.

Other wildlife frequently sighted includes:

• Wildebeests
• Buffaloes
• Impalas
• Warthogs

The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting animals throughout the dry season and providing excellent photography opportunities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive toward your camp.

Evening: Night Game Drive

After dinner, embark on a guided night game drive—an exciting and unique safari experience. Equipped with specialized lighting and accompanied by an experienced guide, you will search for nocturnal species such as:

• Predators on the hunt

The nighttime atmosphere offers a completely different perspective of the African wilderness.

Overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Full Board).

Wake early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. The cooler morning hours provide excellent opportunities to spot predators before they retreat from the sun.

After brunch at the camp, begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon.
