Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Morning: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that winds through it. Known as the “river of warthogs,” it serves as the lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. The park’s landscapes range from dense elephant grass and acacia woodlands to lush groundwater forests. Keep an eye out for majestic elephant herds, often seen gathering near the river, as well as giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators such as lions and leopards often follow these herds, offering thrilling wildlife viewing opportunities. Tarangire also boasts more breeding bird species than anywhere else in the world.

Afternoon & Evening: After an extensive game drive and lunch in the park, transfer to your luxury lodge near Tarangire. Enjoy dinner and relax, reflecting on the day’s unforgettable wildlife encounters during your overnight stay.

Meals Plan:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodations:

Maramboi Tented Camp

Day 3
Maramboi to Lake Manyara National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, we will depart to Lake Manyara National Park which is an unspoilt paradise and is best known for its abundance of birds and tree-climbing lions. The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the park’s western border. To the east is the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. The lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos during the rains. The name Manyara comes from the Maasai word ‘emanyara’, a popular plant which is used to build the protective enclosure around a family homestead (boma). The park’s vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah to evergreen forest. On your exploration of the park, you may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants and if you are lucky; lions lounging in the trees.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, we’ll head for our luxury partner lodges in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Meals Plan:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodations:

Kitela Lodge

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Morning: After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, nearly 600 meters deep. Formed when a massive volcano collapsed two to three million years ago, the crater is both a geological marvel and a natural sanctuary, home to one of Africa’s densest populations of large mammals. The drive down is an adventure in itself, and once on the crater floor, you’ll encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. This is also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino in the open grasslands.

Afternoon & Evening: Following an extensive game drive and lunch in the crater, return to your luxury lodge perched on the rim. Enjoy dinner and relax while taking in the breathtaking views, reflecting on a day filled with incredible wildlife encounters.

Meals Plan:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodations:

Ngorongoro lion’s Paw Lodge

Day 5-6
Serengeti National Park

Morning: After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, a truly spectacular destination. Known for its vast open grasslands, the Serengeti offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Tanzania. As the country’s oldest national park and one of the oldest ecosystems on Earth, its climate and vegetation have remained largely unchanged for millions of years. While abundant wildlife can be seen year-round, the park is most famous for the annual Great Migration, when countless wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and antelopes, traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing—timing of this awe-inspiring event depends on the seasonal rainfall.

Afternoon & Evening: After lunch and an extensive game drive, transfer to your luxury tented lodge for dinner and overnight stay. You will spend two nights immersed in this incredible landscape, enjoying the magic of the Serengeti.

Meals Plan:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodations:

Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Day 7-9
Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar

Morning: After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar (ZNZ). Your flight can be arranged at an additional cost. Upon arrival, you may pass through Stone Town before continuing to Zanzibar’s northern coast, Nungwi, famous for its glowing white coral sands.

Afternoon & Evening: Despite its lively atmosphere, Nungwi retains a sense of seclusion. Its wide, pristine coastline is perfect for swimming and snorkeling in reef-rich waters, and unlike other beaches on the island, it is largely unaffected by high and low tides—ideal for all-day water activities.

A variety of experiences await, from walking tours and diving excursions to sunset cruises and parasailing, but nothing quite captures Nungwi’s charm like watching traditional dhow boats drift across the sea at sunset. You will spend three unforgettable nights in this enchanting paradise.

Meals Plan:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodations:

Nungwi Beach Resort by Turaco

Day 10
Onwards Transfer to the Airport/Ferry
