Original Maasai Lodge – Africa Amini Life is a unique, Maasai-owned lodge nestled on the slopes between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, set within a 200-hectare Maasai nature reserve near Arusha. Comprising around 14–16 traditional Maasai-style bungalows (“bomas”) built with mud and grasses yet furnished to European standards, each is solar‑powered and features an en‑suite bathroom with a rain shower and hot water, plus a private terrace with sweeping views of the Maasai steppe and Kilimanjaro’s silhouette.
